Update!!!  Fatten Up Fallon Finale is quickly approaching!  Is Pat Fat?  Did he lose the 40 pounds or will he be donating to FFS?  Come see for yourself and help cheer him on and show your support for Frisco Family Services at the Official Weigh Out on Thursday April 29th at 7pm at Lochrann's Irish Pub & Eatery.  We've seen him a few times, it's going to be close...  If you see him in the next week, be sure to give him a cookie!!

Like many of us, Frisco City Councilman Patrick Fallon wants to get in shape and fortunately for Frisco Family Servcies, he is putting his money where his mouth is.  To give himself a little extra incentive to lose 40 lbs in fours months, Mr. Fallon has promised to make a $25,000 donation to FFSC if he does not reach his goal. 

As much as we would like to see him succeed, we have a vested interest in receiving his contribution.  This significant donation plus the additional pledges would fund more than 5000 lunches for qualifying children each year through our Summer Lunch Program for the next two summers, cover supplemental food pantry needs such as meat, dairy, perishables, and hygiene products for 2 1/2 months, or provide financial assistance for one month to more than 70 families for rent/mortage or utilities.  Because this donation is very important to those in need in our community, we encourage you to help us FATTEN UP FALLON. If you see him around, cheer him on in his quest to get fit and healthy, but also feel free to buy him lunch, share a dessert, or bake him some cookies to ensure he only loses 39 lbs.   
 

Councilman Fallon asks you to join him in his support for Frisco Family Services by making a donation in his honor or pledge an amount for each pound he loses between December 22, 2009 and April 22, 2009.
